About Us

We support seekers, leaders, and communities to thrive from the inside out. Rooted in the timeless principles of yogic science and the ancestral wisdom of Africa, Southeast Asia, and the diaspora, our work takes a whole-person, collective approach to growth and transformation.

We understand that each of us is a unique drop in the ocean of consciousness - and that our inner development creates ripple effects that extend far beyond the self.

AS CULTURAL FABRIC TRUSTED BY

Who We Are

  • Across life and work, more and more people are awakening to a yearning for more connection, expanded awareness, and deeper meaning and faith. We support you to go deeper and transform information from your inner senses into wisdom you can use.

  • Sovereignty. EASE. Inclusiveness. Collective liberation. Restoration.

Living ideals that shape the way we work. These aren't just words—they’re the foundation of everything we build.

  • We began as a project to re-integrate ancestral technologies of yoga-meditation, mindfulness, and dance/movement into community spaces. We became Cultural Fabric when we expanded into training and organizational development. We’re honored to continue to align our offerings to support our collective evolution through spiritual wellness and leadership development.

Serving as a bridge during this new era of transformation

Lifelong Practice

Committed to being a lifelong practitioner and dedicated student, Melissa offers gratitude to her teachers in yoga-meditation, mindfulness, spirituality, dance/movement, and medicine keeping. Her current work continues to be informed by all of their teachings and especially to the transmissions received through Sadhguru and the lineage of Isha Yoga, studies through Agape University with Rev. Michael Beckwith, and studies with Andean medicine keeper, Puma Fredy Quispe Singona.

Whole Person Wellbeing

People and companies who want to invest in holistic wellbeing (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, environmental) for their own benefit and the benefit of others have called on Melissa to coach them, to advise strategies and solutions that transform, and to teach from wisdom traditions.

Transformation Is the Place Beyond Wellbeing

A dancer, yogi, and business professional, Melissa has crafted a unique framework - The GoDeep. Method - to support people in creating ease in their personal and professional lives so they can feel good, connect and communicate authentically, and develop the capacity to live in alignment with their soul. Beyond wellbeing, transformation has the ability to help us shift our experience of personal and collective challenges. Prior to InnerWisdom Unlimited, she founded consulting practice Cultural Fabric. With InnerWisdom Unlimited, she is allowing the spiritual aspect of our work to come forward in a stronger way to bring us where transformation actually happens - at the individual subtle, energetic level.

How My Journey Began

I am a proud mother, sister, community member, and friend to many. To me this work of connecting to the body-mind-spirit is about self-belonging, continual unfolding and committing to walk in our soul’s divine purpose. Acceptance and integration of all of our parts.

I have been a spiritual seeker of truth and liberation for decades. My first awakening came after a major life event in my 20’s. This big outer shift rocked my core, my consciousness was jarred and when I listened, I heard questions begin to arise. Being a dancer turned yoga practitioner, I then turned within for the answers and part of that guidance came from the innate intelligence and wisdom of my body-mind-soul.

As I walked my path I realized my dharma, or the work I am given to do, is to hold space for people who are existing in those in-between, liminal spaces. As people navigate having one foot in the life you were born into, and one foot in the life your soul wants to craft for you now, I support your bridge building and hold a light onto your inner pathways.

I am committed to us all moving forward in growth and wholeness under the warmth of unconditional love and acceptance.
